1. You and your partner are going for a one-week skate road trip. Choose any city in the U.S.
2. Choose the days that you would like to travel.
3. Plan your trip. a) Take in consideration that your car is a Toyota Rav4 2020. b) Find out how big the tank of your car is. c) Find out how many miles per gallon (MPG) your car gets. d) Find out how many miles your destination city is from Los Angeles.
4. Now that you know how big the tank of your car is, the MPG, and how many miles there are between your destination city and Los Angeles, answer: a) How much is it going to cost to fill up your car’s tank estimating that gasoline costs $3.20/gallon? b) How many gallons of gasoline are you going to need to travel (round trip) from Los Angeles to your destination city? Do not worry about driving around the city from one spot to another.
5. Now is the time to find a hotel room. Go to hotels.com and find a room with 2 beds. a) Write down the amenities that your room has. Does the hotel offer additional amenities such as a pool? b) How much is going to cost to stay for one week?
